This is rough draft. It’s about a man who goes back in time via books.
On a stormy night, in a large Victorian home lived a creature. An intelligent and beautiful being who lived alone; thirsty for the rush of adventure, the thrill of love, the happiness of fulfilling a fantasy only known to him.
He was a daring man. One who’s eyes were shades of blues and greens, who’s hair was the color of bark, and who’s skin was pale and smooth like marble.
On this night when the wind howled against the sea, when the thunder crashed and boomed along the sky, when the lightning danced in the stars; the story of the man begins.
But…perhaps reader, you should know a bit more of our "protagonist".
His favorite room in his Victorian mansion was the library. It was a large, circular room; filled with dozens of book shelves that reached to the ceiling. Inside the shelves, hundreds-of-thousands of books of different size, color, and genre; slept. At the vey end of the room sat two large windows, the size of four book shelves each; that gave a view of the vast ocean crashing along the side of the hill where the house lay. In the middle of the library was a chandelier, filled with dozens of candles that reflected off the marble floor. Under the chandelier sat a large red rug, with gold trimming around it. On top of the rug, was a single mahogany desk and a comfy leather chair where, our "protagonist" sits reading a rather large history book.
"Oh, if only I can enter this book or go back in time to see the medieval ages!", he sighed.
"Perhaps I will fight a dragon, save a princess, become a knight of the round table…", he then chuckled, " What a ridiculous dream…if only it were…reality"
BOOM!! Thunder crashed into the sky, singing it’s deafening song as lighting dances.
BOOM! The windows open, the curtains fly in a rush of madness, and the fire of the candles immediately go out; being kissed by wind.
It was complete darkness, and then, just as suddenly as the lightning hitst
Hits the sky; the man felt a sensation like never before. His body was being sucked painfully into the book. He let out a scream of agony, his jaw was trying to get closed by a powerful force unknown to him. His body elongated, his bones and muscles stretched to their limits. Not a minute later he was sitting, breathing heavily with his eyes closed.
What lay before him when they opened was unbelievable.

Extremely well described; great details. Good idea and presentation. I’m personally not a fan of the parts where you call the Protagonist by it’s literal title. Other than that, well done!
i love it, it is something i would definitely read, it reminds me a lot of ink heart. i really like your description of the library. he should go back in time to pioneer times and the victorian ages!
*stare at screen in stunned silence* Oh. My. Gosh. That was amazing. Although I wasn’t a fan of the man being called "the protagonist", it was as if I could actually see it happening in my head, which never happens. Keep up the amazing work!
